Aboutthe studio
Aadam set up ADH Design Studio to do commercial and community projects properly. Most of the people who need a restaurant fit-out drawn or a change of use through planning are choosing between a large practice they cannot afford and a drawing service that will not read the planning record. We sit in the gap: the person who visited the site is the person who answers the phone, and the research gets done before the drawings.
Before the studio Aadam worked at Stantec on a pharmacy fit-out through the RIBA Mentor Scheme, and at Denizkuşu Mimarlık in Istanbul on a residential villa. He also runs an architecture review channel on TikTok, explaining buildings in plain English.
Aadam is not a registered architect and does not use the title. RIBA Part 1 is the first of three stages. What we do is architectural design: surveys, feasibility, planning applications and fit-out drawings. Anything that needs a registered professional or a specialist, we say so and help you appoint one.
How we work is written down on the Services page, and it is the same on every job: fixed fee per stage, estimates labelled as estimates, scope in writing, risks stated plainly, including our own judgement calls.
